Turkey Says Eight Soldiers Killed, Claims Killing 35 Kurd Fighters

Istanbul, Shawwal 25, 1437, Jul 30, 2016, SPA -- Eight Turkish soldiers and 35 Kurdish militants died in renewed fighting in the country's south-east.
Turkey initially reported five soldiers killed in a roadside bomb incident in Hakkari province in the south-east.
Meanwhile, in two other incidents in Hakkari, the army reported killing 35 members of the armed Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK), according to dpa.
