(MENAFNEditorial) With an upcoming publication in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare, Dell T. Miller, DNP, MSN, RN, FNP, EMT-P, joins the prestigious ranks of the International Nurses Association. She is a Registered Nurse with forty-one years of experience in her field and extensive expertise in all facets of nursing, including emergency room nursing, trauma nursing, and critical care nursing. Prior to Dell";s retirement in May of 2016, Dell was serving patients as the Assistant Director of Undergraduate Programs and Assistant Professor at Columbus State University - School of Nursing in Columbus, Georgia.
Dell received her associate degree in nursing in 1975 and her bachelor degree of science in nursing in 1991 at Columbus State College School of Nursing in Columbus, Georgia. In 1994, Dell received her master of science in nursing at Troy University in Phenix City, Alabama. She received a post master certification as a Nurse Practitioner from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2000; where she also received an MSN as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner in 2001. Furthermore, she received her doctor degree of nursing practice in 2013 from the University of South Alabama. Dell has been a paramedic emergency medicine technician since 1988, an EMT since 1977.
Dell is Board Certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and is an inductee of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. In addition, she is a member of the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses and the Emergency Nurses Association. Dell feels that her success is attributable to her love of the field, the opportunity to shape young nurses and working with new nurses. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her grandchildren.
