Nurse Veronica is a highly experienced Registered Nurse, having been in practice for more than eleven years. She gained her nursing degree in 2005, when she graduated from Georgia College and State University in Milledgeville. She had previously gained an Associate of Science qualification as a respiratory care therapist from Macon State College.
After gaining experience as a respiratory care specialist, Veronica became a qualified registered nurse specializing in both cardiac care and care for patients suffering from a diverse range of kidney conditions. Her experience in this field includes five years as a dialysis nurse, and six years working on a Cardiovascular Step Down Unit.
Veronica keeps up to date with all the latest advances in nursing, and in cardiac and nephrology care, through her active membership of professional organizations including the American Nurse Association, Georgia Nurse Association, and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. A previous recipient of the Daisy Award for Extraordinary Nurses, her outstanding compassion and dedication to healthcare excellence make her a very worthy winner of a 2016 Top Doctor Award.
