A Pokmon GO Takeover Event is Coming to the Garden with Pokstops, Gyms, Lures, and More!

EVENT IS JULY 31; GARDEN OPENS AT 9:00AM AND CLOSES AT 5:00PM

PALOS VERDES PENINSULA, CAJuly 27, 2016: You want to be the very best? Like no one ever was? Good news! #GOintheGarden was a huge success and we''re inviting Pokmon trainers back for a full #TakeoverattheGarden sponsored by Richeeze. We''ve got lure modules, delicious food, wifi, charging stations, rare Pokmon and of course, a gorgeous 87-acre garden.

The event will take place on July 31, 2016 from 9 am 5 pm. As a bonus, we''ll set an additional lure module for every 100 people that RSVP ''going'' to this event and ANOTHER lure module for every 50 people that check-in at the Garden. Be sure to let our Guest Services Center know you''re here for Pokmon hunting so we can keep an accurate tally.

The Pokmon GO Takeover Event is an excellent way to meet new people who share your passion for Pokmon. Represent your team colors (#teamvalor,#teammystic,#teaminstinct) to team up with other trainers and take the Gyms by storm.

Its exciting to see how the Pokmon phenomenon is bringing kids and families to the Garden. We have 87 acres of nature to explore including an extensive plant collection, gorgeous views and resident wildlife. Playing Pokmon GO is a fun way for people to see all that we have to offer." said South Coast Botanic Garden Foundation CEO Adrienne Nakashima.

Please note that Garden admission applies to non-Garden members ($9 - adults, $6 - students/seniors, $4 - children). Garden members are FREE. All children must be accompanied by an adult (18+ years old). Discount Pokmon Trainer memberships are available this day only. An annual Garden membership to the South Coast Botanic Garden grants you FREE access to over 250 gardens nationwide. All admission and membership fees go to support the Garden. South Coast Botanic Garden Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit.
