Kuwait- KRCS hands out 45,000 food parcels to displaced Iraqis

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) IRBIL, July 28 (KUNA) -- Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS) handed out some 45,000 food baskets to displaced families in various cities within the Kurdistan region of Iraq.
KRCS official Yousef Al-Meraj told KUNA Thursday that since the beginning of 2016, KRCS handed out food baskets for a number of 250,000 displaced Iraqis in the region.
He also said that KRCS has handed out 4,000 coupons and clothes to fulfill the needs of the displaced Iraqis during Eid Al-Fitr.
He added that Kuwait will continue offering aid to ease the pain and suffering of displaced Iraqis and refugees in the region. (end) sbr.mys
