Border guards in Jazan thwart smuggling of 201 kilograms of hashish

Riyadh, Shawwal 23, 1437, July 28, 2016, SPA -- The Border Guards in Jazan region managed on Tuesday, 21/10/1437 AH to foil an attempt to smuggle a large quantity of hashish, the official spokesman of the border guards, Colonel Saher bin Mohammed Al-Harbi said.
A boat carrying three Yemenis and 201 kgs of hashish was detected while trying to enter the Saudi waters in the range of responsibilities of Baish sector, the spokesman added. The boat was stopped and searched. The smugglers and hashish were seized. The receivers, two Saudis, were also arrested, the spokesman said.
