In Brazil, More Than Half a Million Jobs Lost in Q1-2016


(MENAFN) According to what the General Labor Registry in Brazil said, over 530,000 jobs were dropped in the first half of this year and its worse of its kind since 2002.

Meanwhile, it was reported that Brazil lost 1.765 million jobs since June 2015 to June 2016.

The problem of jobs losses was associated with the economic decline that Brazilian economy suffers from.

Regarding to this struggle, the commerce industry lost 254,000 so far, and manufacturers missed 140,000 jobs, also the services sector lost 124,000 jobs, while construction 114,000 jobs.
