Empower to participate in the WETEX 2016 in Dubai

DUBAI, 27th July 2016 (WAM) - As part of its pioneering role in energy, environment and district cooling, Emirates Central Cooling Systems Corporation (Empower), the world's largest district cooling services provider, will participate in the Water, Energy, Technology, and Environment Exhibition (WETEX 2016) organised by DEWA under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and under the patronage of HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Minister of Finance and President of DEWA from 4 to 6 of October, 2016 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.

This annual exhibition provides opportunity for associations, corporations and companies from all over the region and the world to discover the latest technology related to the water, energy, and environment sectors. The show serves as a platform for companies to reveal their forthcoming projects. The 18th WETEX exhibition is expected to be the largest in its history accounting to number of exhibitors, display area and number of visitors. This year, it is expected to attract 1900 exhibitors from 46 countries, 22600 visitors from 65 countries all over the world, and the total area is expected to exceed 63,700 square meters.

WETEX 2016 will be held under the umbrella of the 3rd Green Week. It also coincides with the first Dubai Solar Show and the third World Green Economy Summit (WGES).

"Year after year, WETEX consolidates its position as one of the world's largest specialised exhibitions at a time when the UAE and Dubai government are launching promising projects related to the green economy and sustainable development. This year's edition sees Empower showcasing its latest efforts to adopt environmental initiatives, exchange of ideas and suggesting the best ways to use energy," added Bin Shafar.

Bin Shafar also assured that Empower looks forward to signing new contracts, building partnerships, and looking at the latest technology in the energy, environment and sustainable development, and both current and future projects regionally and worldwide. This will help the company assess the market needs and qualify opportunities in suggested projects and programmes.
