Kiran Bedi discusses progress of Technology Centre in Puducherry with Kalraj Mishra


(MENAFN- KNN India) Puducherry Lieutenant Governor Kiran Bedi today met MSME Minister Kalraj Mishra in the national capital to discuss about various developments in the sector there.

During the meeting, Mishra and Bedi discussed about progress of Technology Centre in Puducherry.

The two also discussed establishment of an extension centre for Fragrance & Flavour Development Centre at Karaikal, Puducherry.

Earlier in the day, Bedi had also met the Union Textile Minister Smriti Irani to discuss the long standing issue of the closed textile mill in Puducherry.

In a tweet, Bedi, who is in the national capital currently, wrote, 'HLG thekiranbedi met Hon'ble Textile Min Smt smritiirani seeking resolution of longstanding textile mill issue.”

She further wrote, 'Met smritiirani for 11 yrs old complex-financial-matter of a textile mill which she resolved in just 11 minutes.”

Irani, in her reply to the tweet, wrote, 'I am glad I could help in solving long-standing issue that will revive the mill & lead to employment generation.” (KNN Bureau)
