Nouakchott, Shawwal 21, 1437, July 26, 2016, SPA -- President Mohammed Ould Abdulaziz of Mauritania received in capital Nouakchott the Secretary General of Jeddah-based Organization of Islamic Cooperation Iyad bin Amin Madani.
During the meeting, they reviewed the situations in the Coast and Desert regions, including the positive role Mauritania is playing to help bring about peace and stability to this tense area, as well as the peaceful process in Mali. The situation in Libya was also tackled. They drew the attention to the Israeli perpetual violations of international law, noting the importance of law enforcement.
