(MENAFN) Qatar's industrial sector showed an increase of 44.9 points, a growth of 2.5 percent, compared to the previous month.
This flow was attributed to the improvement in the performance of manufacturing and mining sectors, mainly petroleum products and its derivatives.
Moreover, the PPI of Mining sector in May showed a major drop of 36.7%.
An increase in prices is also noticed by 9.8%, cement and other non-metallic products by 8.1%, rubber and plastics products by 3.4%, and beverages by 1.7%.
