Emir of Qatar visits Colombia, Argentina

DOHA, 26th July, 2016 (WAM) -- Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Emir of Qatar, left yesterday for the Republic of Colombia on an official three-day visit, before heading to the Republic of Argentina.

The Qatar News Agency, QNA, said that during the two visits, the Qatari Emir will discuss bilateral relations and means of enhancing them, in addition to a number of issues of common concern, with Presidents Juan Manuel Santos of Colombia and Mauricio Macri of Argentina.

A number of agreements and Memoranda of Understanding, MoUs, between Qatar and both countries will also be signed.
