Argentina relies heavily on G20 in its external trade


(MENAFN) Nearly 73.3 percent of Argentina's overseas trade is with G20 countries; hence the nation's trade with the bloc amounted to USD85.3 billion through last year.

In the matter of exports, sales to member nations of the group totaled USD35.7 billion, thus representing 63 percent of the overall shipped out by the South American country.

Inside the G20, Brazil is the top destination for Argentina's exports, accounting for 17.8pct of overall exports, while the EU, as a bloc, ranked in second place, with 14.5pct of the total.

Furthermore, as far as the inbound shipments are concerned, the Republic imported USD49.60 billions' worth of merchandises from G20 countries, or 83 percent of its total.
