Bahrain non-oil sector trade deficit touches USD1.4bn


(MENAFN) Bahrain recorded a trade deficit of USD1.4bn in the non-oil sector amid the second quarter of this year.

On the other hand, imported products value reached USD3.12bn, with almost 70 percent of the products imported from the top 10 ranked countries.

The main exporter to Bahrain is Switzerland with USD453.2mn, followed by China that exported products worth USD341.9mn.

In addition, Saudi Arabia is ranked as the top importer from Bahrain with products worth USD315.4mn imported, and the US followed with USD193.1mn.
