Ras al-Khaimah Ruler forms board of Emirates Cultural and Sports Club

RAS AL-KHAIMAH, 24th July 2016 (WAM) --- H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras al-Khaimah, has issued a resolution forming the board of directors of the Emirates Sports and Cultural Club.

According to the resolution , the new board will be chaired by Mahmoud Hasan Al Shamsi, while Ismail Al Awadhi was appointed deputy chairman of the board.

Members of the new board are Rashid Ahmed Al Shamsi, Ahmed Mohammed Al Nuaimi, Ahmed Jaber Al Awadhi, Mohammed Abdullah Al Hammadi and Khalil Ibrahim Al Taweel.

Chairman of the board, Mahmoud Hasan Al Shamsi, thanked the ruler for having confidence in the board.

He said the board will make achievements and success possible through teamwork and collaboration with companies involved in football and other sports.

Al Shamsi noted that the new board will hold its first meeting tomorrow Monday to outline the club's work in the next stage.

The decree is effective immediately and will be published in the official gazette.
