Boeing arranges to tap numerous opportunities in India

(MENAFN) Boeing, the American multinational corporation that designs, manufactures, and sells airplanes, rotorcraft, rockets and satellites has offered to manufacture its F/A-18 fighter jets in India.

The offer comes amid the all new Make in India program which the government has recently launched to stimulate foreign investments and boost the country's vast industries lifting it to new levels.

Boeing's latest offer to help the government create an industrial ecosystem to build its fighter planes signals it sees an opportunity to further boost its existence in the ongoing developing Asian nation.

"We are taking a hard look at the chance for the F18 fighter jet as an area where we can build industrial capacity, supply chain partnerships, technical depth, design and manufacturing capability in India," said a Boeing's official.
