Siemens lead global giants in Iranian projects' chase


(MENAFN) Siemens AG, the German multinational conglomerate company, signed with Iran a memorandum of understanding (MoU) worth a whopping USD1.6 billion, based on reports.

The deal is focused on transportation equipment and services, and is only the first step for a comprehensive and constructive relationship with the Islamic republic as Siemens sees it.

It didn't take much long after the sanctions' termination for a groundbreaking big-time agreement to arise, and the one thing for sure; is there will be many profitable deals to come.

Furthermore, the principal divisions of the German behemoth are Industry, Energy, Healthcare, and Infrastructure & Cities, which represent the main activities of the company.
