(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Washington, July 23 (QNA) - Hillary Clinton, Democratic presidential nominee, on Friday named Senator Tim Kaine of Virginia to be her vice-president running mate in the US election.
"I'm thrilled to announce my running mate, Tim Kaine, a man who's devoted his life to fighting for others," Clinton wrote on twitter.
Kaine, 58, has only been a senator since 2012 but served as governor of Virginia for four years prior to that. (QNA)
