(MENAFN) The amount of locals and foreigners going in and out of South Korea registered the biggest figure throughout 2015, a 7.7 percent jump from 2014, and it's expanding nonstop.
The score came to some 66.37 million, with the number of locals reaching 39.11 million and that of foreigners coming in at 27.26 million, with Chinese taking the first place among visitors.
Moreover, the overall number of local Koreans who went out of the country in the cited year stood at 19.58 million, a significant 19.3 percent surge over the previous year.
A little over 70 percent of foreign visitors came to Korea for tourism, in the meantime it's expected that Koreans going out for overseas trips this year will be more than 20 million.
