China's internet access over mobiles bursts

(MENAFN) Nearly 620 million Chinese had used mobile phones to access the Internet as of the end of 2015, reporting a 63.03 million increase over the year.

According to China Internet Network Information Center, the substantial jump represented 90.1 percent of the overall 688 million Internet users in the nation.

Internet coverage growth has helped expand public services, living standards, and e-commerce, which is why the government is seeking means to further boost it.

Furthermore, reports showed that almost 96.6 million Chinese, or one in every 14, ordered a taxi online in 2015, with most using mobile phones to do so.
