Dubai Customs makes 'electronics' donation
(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) Dubai Customs has contributed 928 electronic devices to Beit Al Khair Society to be distributed among the low-income people. The devices included 308 personal computers, 390 desktop screens, 93 printers and 137 laptops, according to Director of Corporate Communication at Dubai Customs, Khalil Saqer bin Gharib. "The initiative was intended to fulfill the needs of the needy segments, particularly of students, as the world has become largely dependent on technology." Beit Al Khair Society has a longstanding record of devoted charity activities spanning 25 years, he added. "The society is managing numerous income-generating projects amongst many other programmes for the best interest of the needy, widows, families of inmates and all who are in dire need for help." The society has set a living example of planning, performance and accomplishments, embodying the love of the Emirati people for charity and humanitarian work, he added.
