Yerevan, Shawwal 18, 1437, Jul 23, 2016, SPA -- The United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the Republic of Armenia signed in Yerevan on Friday an agreement for promotion and mutual protection of investments.
The agreement was signed by Undersecretary of the UAE's Ministry of Finance Younis Haji Al Khouri and Armenian Deputy Economy Minister Garegin Melkonyan.
The Armenian economy minister lauded the progress witnessed in the UAE, particularly in economic fields. He underlined the growing Emirati investments in Armenia and the marked increase in the numbers of the Emirati tourists visiting Armenia.
Khouri said the UAE is looking forward to developing its economic ties with Armenia.
