S. Korea outlines USD9.64bn budget to boost economy


(MENAFN) S. Korea outlined a USD9.64bn extra budget plan organized to pop up its economy, facing sluggish exports from corporate restructuring in key industires.

Moreover, the country aims to help Asia's fourth-largest Economy achieve 2.8 percent increase this year, which was downgraded last month from 3.1 percent.

On the other hand, the country experienced rising unemployment in the young generation and escalated financial uncertainites from the British exit from the EU.

However, S. Korea's exports dropped 10 percent in the Jan- June period, posting the 18th consecutive negative growth.
