U.S General Elect Co. grows revenue to USD33.49bn


(MENAFN) General Electric Co. posted an increase in its income in Q2, as its aviation, healthcare and power businesses faced weak demand for oil and gas.

Furthemore, the firm adjusted earnings per share of 51 cents a share topped the 46 cents a share, while the gain was offset by 9 cents in restructuring costs.

Accordingly, the diversity and scale of the firm's portolio enabled it to perform well, despite a volatile and slow growth economy.

Meanwhile , revenues increased 15 percent to USD33.49bn, supported by a 31 percent grow from the power business.
