Microsoft posts 9pct rise in Surface income over Q4 FY16


(MENAFN) Microsoft registered income growth of 9pct year-over-year for its Surface device division in its fiscal year 2016 4th quarter results, based on reports.

Accordingly, the returns figures surged to USD965 million over the quarter, thus signifying that this product is performing great, plus gaining more popularity.

In more detail, the behemoth's numbers indicate that the noteworthy progress was driven by the sales of its Surface Book notebook and its Surface Pro 4 tablet.

Furthermore, the previous two fiscal quarters revealed that the Surface division had revenues that were over USD1 billion each, which only supports the case.
