Qatar Airways to increase daily flights between Muscat and Doha

Qatar Airways has announced that it will be increasing its daily flights from Muscat to Doha from August 1.
With the addition of an extra flight to its schedule, it aims to give travellers more choice. The airline will operate 35 flights a week from Muscat to Doha, connecting more than 150 destinations through Hamad International Airport, stated a press release. Ehab Amin, Qatar Airways senior vice president commercial GCC, Levant, Iran, Iraq,Yemen, Africa and Indian subcontinent, said, 'Both Muscat and Doha are popular cities that offer business, cultural and leisure opportunities to travellers. 'The additional flight is a response to increased demand on this popular route, and aims to offer our passengers more convenience, thereby empowering travellers with the ability to choose flights that are best suited to their unique requirements.' Qatar Airways' new flight to Doha will depart from Muscat at 6.45am arriving in Doha at 7.25am, with the return flight departing from Doha at 2.20am and landing in Muscat at 5am. The airline operates services on the Muscat sector with A320 aircraft, offering both its award-winning Business and Economy Class options to passengers, added the release. This year travellers will continue to see Qatar Airways expanding its global reach, with the addition of new destinations to explore. So far in 2016, the airline has launched routes to Los Angeles (US), Ras al Khaimah (UAE), Sydney (Australia), Boston (US), Birmingham (UK), Adelaide (Australia), Yerevan (Armenia), Atlanta (US) and Marrakech (Morocco). From this month, new routes will include Pisa (Italy), Sarajevo (Bosnia), Windhoek (Namibia), Helsinki (Finland), Skopje (Macedonia), Krabi (Thailand), Seychelles, and Chiang Mai (Thailand).
