Oman's two power projects to be extended until 2021
(MENAFN) The Oman Power and Water Co. reached a deal with the owners of Al Kamil Power for extending their contract from 2017 to Dec 2021.
Moreover, the whole contracted capacity of the plant is 280 MW, which is predicted to be ready for further contract extension after 2021.
On the other hand, the 264 MW-Manah power plant's power deal will expire in 2020 and the plant will be moved to the government.
The Sohar 1 project, which has a production of 597 MW, is expected to be available for contracting under a new power and water purchase deal.
