Poland lauds Kuwait's role in Mideast


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) BRUSSELS, July 19 (KUNA) -- A polish official lauded Tuesday Kuwait's role in the Middle East, saying that the GCC State had a great impact in lessening the suffering of many people in the region namely the Syrian refugees.

After the 25th European Union-Gulf Cooperation Council Ministerial Meeting, Polish Foreign Ministry official Joanna Wronecka said that Poland appreciated "Kuwait's role in the region especially within the humanitarian domain." She stressed that her country was looking into means to boost relations with Kuwait on all possible levels, adding that Poland was also eager to coordinate with the GCC country to address issues of regional importance.

The Polish official met with Kuwait's Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs Ambassador Suleiman Al-Jarallah. The two officials both touched on issues pertaining to bilateral relations and means to develop them.

Regional and international developments as well as means to coordinate EU and GCC efforts were also on the table of discussions. (end) nk.gta
