Qatar- Advisory Council's 44th Session Adjourned


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Doha, July 18 (QNA) - The Advisory Council held Monday its weekly regular meeting under the chairmanship of HE the Speaker of the Advisory Council Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khulaifi.
At the beginning of the meeting, HE the Secretary-General of the Advisory Council Fahad bin Mubarak Al Khayareen read out the agenda which was agreed upon. Then, the Council endorsed the minutes of its previous session.
The Council was informed about the memorandum of the Cabinet General Secretariat to the Ministry of Economy and Commerce on the Advisory Council's recommendation about requesting general discussion on practicing trading and selling on the internet in the State of Qatar.
The Council was also informed about the memorandum of the Cabinet General Secretariat to the Ministry of Administrative Development, Labour and Social Affairs on informing the Advisory Council on the Additional Protocol to the Convention on forced labor and two recommendations referred to.
The Council discussed a draft law amending some provisions of Law No. 9 of 1979 on attestation, and decided to submit its recommendations thereon to the Advisory Council's legal and legislative affairs committee.
The Council also discussed a report by the Financial and economic affairs committee in relation to a draft law on the State Audit Bureau, and decided to submit its recommendations thereon to the Council of Ministers.

HE The Advisory Council's Secretary-General Fahad bin Mubarak Al-Khayareen read out Emiri Decree No. 25 of 2016 adjourning the 44th regular session of the Advisory Council as of Monday, 13th of Shawal 1437 AH, corresponding to 18 July 2015. Later the Advisory Council Secretary-General gave a speech on the occasion, in which he expressed sincere thanks and appreciation to HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani for his incessant and unlimited support to the Council and for the fruitful and constructive cooperation in all the achievements the Council has accomplished.
