Kuwait- KRCS continues to distribute aid to displaced Syrians in Lebanon


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) BEIRUT, July 13 (KUNA) -- Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS) said Monday that aid have been distributed to a number of displaced Syrian families in northern Lebanon in cooperation with the Lebanese Red Cross (LRC).

Food packages and cleaning materials were handed to around 250 Syrian families at Rihaniya camp in Akkar district, northern Lebanon, Abdullah Al-Zaid, head of KRCS's mission to Lebanon, stated to KUNA, adding that one food package is sufficient enough to a family of five members for a whole month.

Al-Zaid expressed his hope that the aid help in alleviating the suffering of refugees, reiterating KRCS' commitment to aid Syrian refugees in Lebanon and all countries they have taken as refuge. (end) mah.ma
