Manama, Shawwal 13, 1437, Jul 18, 2016, SPA -- The Ministry of Bahrain today expressed profound disgust towards a statement issued by Boris Johnson, British foreign secretary, as well as U.S. foreign department commenting on domestic controversial issues in Bahrain, stating that such statements are categorically rejected by Bahrain in their capacity as flagrant interference in its domestic affairs.
The statements criticized a decision issued by Bahraini judiciary and described by Bahraini foreign ministry as enjoying all standards of justice, impartiality, transparency and independence.
The Bahraini news agency, which carried the news, said such statements are considered unjustified bias against the Kingdom of Bahrain, noting that all rights and freedoms are guaranteed in the Kingdom's constitution that preserves the security and safety of everybody.
The ministry urged friendly and allied countries to remain keen on observing the interests of Bahrain, confirming the commitment of the Kingdom of Bahrain to work with its partners and allies in what enhances peace and sustainable development for all.
