(MENAFN- Morocco World News) Jawad Meroun, a 32 year-old Moroccan living in Turkey, died on Friday night after being shot by the Turkish military during the coup d'etat attempt that planned to overthrow Turkey's president Recep Tayep Erdogan, according to news outlet Lakome2.
Speaking to the same source, Amina, the deceased's wife, who is Turkish, said that her husband died during his participation in the demonstration Erdogan called to stand against the military.
