DOHA: Qatar Airways (QA) yesterday announced special fares from Doha to selected destinations in America, Europe, Africa and Australia, with prices of all-inclusive return ticket fares to some neighbouring countries starting from QR510 for Economy Class.
The promotion provides an opportunity for passengers to save on Premium and Economy Class fares to nearly a dozen destinations, including Bahrain, Dubai, Istanbul, Kochi, Adis Ababa, Manila, Bangkok, London, New York, Los Angeles and Melbourne, among others. The booking opened on July 5 and runs until July 31 with travel validity between July 18 and December 14.
The promotion applies to Economy and Business Class return tickets. For flights where Business Class is not operated, First Class is applicable. Bangkok return fare is applicable for Economy, Business and First class. One-way fares are offered to selected destinations.
According to terms and conditions, reservation for all sectors and ticketing must be completed at the same time. There is no wait listing. Booking requires for all sectors.
All destinations except Manila and Clark, outbounds are not permitted from September 6 to 13. All destinations except Manila and Clark, inbounds are not permitted from August 25 to September 3 and September 14 to 17. For making changes in travel plans, fees and a difference in fare may also be applicable. For GCC, the Middle East, ISC and Africa, for Economy class, change fee is $35, cancellation/refund charges $35 and no-show $50. For Business class change fee is $100, cancellation/refund $100 and no-show $200. For First class, change fee is $200, cancellation/refund $200 and no-show $200.
No award upgrades for promo fares
For Europe, Far East, America and Australia, applicable fees and difference in fare for Economy class are — change fee $100, cancellation/refund $100 and no-show $200. For Business class change fee is $200, cancellation/refund $200 and no-show $500 and for First class change fee is $200, cancellation/refund $200 and no-show $750. Taxes are subject to change without prior notice and fares include all applicable discounts, fees, taxes and airport charges. Service fees may apply. Award upgrades will not be permitted for promotional fares on O, T and W booking classes. Standard child/infant discount apply.
