Iran to allocate USD12b for major water schemes

(MENAFN) Iran intends to invest at least USD12 billion in its sewage and water systems throughout the following 5 years, based on the latest reports.

Accordingly, a total of 160 large dams have already been constructed and are currently in operation, let alone 90 more dams are under construction.

Many top Iranian officials have credited the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) for paving the path for many vital nationwide projects with top powers.

Key global firms expect that the application of the JCPOA would give a huge boost to Iran's economy after almost a decade of isolation from the global economy.
