(MENAFN) Mainly on the back of a change in China's economic structure, South Korea's outbound shipments to the world's 2nd largest economy are destined to continue to drop partly.
In detail, based on the report from the Bank of Korea (BoK), the nation's exports to China are anticipated to plunge by an average USD5 billion per year over the following five years.
Such an outlook comes as China is progressively concentrating on its local market as a source of growth, therefore its domestic consumption will only continue to develop and advance.
In the first six months of the year, South Korea's total exports dipped 10pct from 2015's cited period, as its shipments to China fell every single month, plummeting 9.4pct on-year in June alone.
