China's PV capacity to hit over 140 gigawatts in 5 years


(MENAFN) China continues to develop photovoltaic (PV) power capacity; therefore it will reach 150 gigawatts by 2020, based on the latest reports.

The nation's overall PV power volume stood at 35.8 gigawatts by the end of June, moreover; future work will focus on distributing PV in central and east China.

To reach the goal, the Ministry of Industry and IT continue to advance acquisitions among domestic solar PV firms and push forward technology advancements.

Furthermore, the National Energy Administration (NEA) stressed on the fact that Lower cost, technological innovation and better PV services are also expected.
