Arab League Council's Meeting Starts

(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Cairo, July 16 (QNA) - The meeting of the Arab League Council at the level of permanent delegates on started Saturday, under the Chairmanship of Bahrain and in the presence of the newly-appointed Secretary-General of the Arab League, Ahmed Aboul-Gheit.
HE Qatar's Ambassador to Egypt and Permanent Delegate to the Arab League Saif bin Muqaddam Al Buainein, represented the State of Qatar in the Meeting.
The meeting will deliberate on the latest arrangements and preparations for holding the next regular Arab Summit scheduled in the Mauritanian capital, Nouakchott, on 25th and 26th July as well as electing an assistant Secretary-General of the Arab League. (QNA)
