RIYADH, 16th July 2016 (WAM) --- Yemeni President, Abd-Rabbuh Mansour Hadi, has agreed that his internationally-recognised government's delegation will resume the Kuwait-hosted peace talks on Yemen.

Yemen's state news agency said that Hadi announced his approval during a meeting with his advisors and the government's delegation to the UN-brokered talks.

Hadi said that the government and its advisers will continue their discussions with the UN Secretary-General's Special Envoy for Yemen, Ismael Ould Cheikh Ahmed, and the political powers in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to "guarantee the achievement of real peace that is based on the right terms of reference and timeframe, and not an absurd dialogue for dialogue's sake."
