Kuwait Red Crescent delivers aid to Syrian refugees

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) BEIRUT, July 16 (KUNA) -- Kuwait Red Crescent Society has distributed relief supplies to Syrian refugees in eastern Lebanon, in cooperation with the Lebanese Red Cross.
The ICRC field team chief, Abdullah Al-Zaid, told KUNA on Saturday that food and cleaning materials were given to 250 families at shanty towns around the eastern town Zahle.
Kuwait namely the KRCS is the main supporter of the estimated 1.5 million refugees in Lebanon. (end) ma.rk
