Oman- Pop culture superstars to take part in IGN Convention on Dec 9, 10

Pop culture superstars will head to Muscat for the capital's first ever IGN Convention. The line-up for 2016 includes Game of Thrones star Kristian Nairn who fans will recognise for portraying the character of 'Hodor' on the hit TV show.

Joining him will be Adam Harrington, the voice of 'Bigby Wolf' from the video game Wolf Among Us and Dave Fennoy, the voice of 'Lee Everett' from the video game The Walking Dead.

'Fans will get a chance to meet their favourite celebrities in a fun and entertaining atmosphere. Cosplay enthusiasts can mingle with geeks to discuss movies while gamers can exercise their reflexes. Quite simply, it is an event not to be missed by anyone interested in movies, TV, video games, comics or role play,' said Abbas Jaffar Ali, director, IGN Middle East.

The IGN Convention Oman will take place on December 9 and 10 at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre. During the two days, fans will get to be a part of several activities such as arcade, card and tabletop games, free workshops, gaming tournaments, regional artist showcases and much more.

The event will also feature a Cosplay competition where fans will have the opportunity to dress up as their favourite movie, video game or comic book characters and win amazing prizes.

The cost for general admission if RO10; it would be RO8 if tickets are purchased before November 1.

For access to the event on one day, the VIP cost will be RO50; the cost will be RO40 if the tickets are purchased before November 1.
