Jordan- Two drown in northern dam
(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, July 13 (Petra) -- Two young men died on Wednesday in a drowning incident while fishing in the Al-Wahda Dam in the northern governorate of Irbid. Rescue crews rushed to the scene and retrieved the bodies of the two young men, 20 and 22, before evacuating them to a nearby hospital.
The Civil Defense Department urged citizens not to swim or fish in places that are not originally intended for such purposes, including dams and ponds.
