Session to Elect Lebanon's President Postponed

(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency)
Beirut, Shawwal 8, 1437, Jul 13, 2016, SPA -- Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri has postponed the 42nd session to elect a president of Lebanon, which was scheduled today, to be held on August 8, 2016.
The session was postponed because the number of MPs fell short of the required quorum to elect a president. Only 42 MPs attended the electoral session, prompting the parliament Speaker to adjourn the presidential election session to a later schedule.
