Iran pushes Japan to invest more in its oil sector


(MENAFN) As sanctions lift on Iran are finally completed, Japan presented itself as one of the top countries interested in investing in the oil-rich country, which is very welcomed, as an Iranian official clarified.

Iran's Ministry of Petroleum stressed on the fact that it will bring long-term benefits to Japanese and other foreign businesses because its oil and gas sectors offer high profit, low risk and attractive development opportunities.

Furthermore, Iran will need more than USD173 billion in its upstream, midstream and downstream projects, plus the nation is has been widely highlighting investment opportunities in oil and gas development.
