Lebanese Prime Minister Meets French Foreign Minister

(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Beirut, July 12 (QNA) - Lebanese Prime Minister Tammam Salam met on Tuesday with French Foreign Minister Jean-Marc Ayrault, who is on a visit to Lebanon.
Quoted by Lebanese National News Agency, the French Minister said that "Lebanon has always and will always be a priority for France. He also expressed his country's keenness on preserving the safety of Lebanon and its independence." "Despite the fact that Salam has been tackling the situation with utmost courage and competency, it is very important to note that the political situation has been complicating his mission," the French Minister said.
He also pushed for the substantial need to have Lebanon exit the prevailing crisis in a bid to beat the grave economic, social, and security challenges. (QNA)
