Oman- Safeer Mall Sohar announces grand winner of BMW 318i

Safeer Mall Sohar, a family destination and popular shopping mall in the Batinah region, recently revealed the grand winner of the Ramadan Shopping Promotion 2016.

Khalfan Mubarak Humaid al Rushdi, an Omani national from Sohar, was over the moon on receiving the award. Rushdi said, 'For me, shopping at Safeer Mall Sohar really resulted in a big reward and it is a joyful memory to share with my favourite mall. It is the first ever time in my life that I have won a prize and I am really happy and at the same time thankful to Allah.'

The promo ran for 50 days from May 18 to July 6; an all-new BMW 318i 2016 was given away and 50 lucky winners were awarded with gift vouchers worth a total of RO2,500.

Other than the shopping promotion, there were a lot of activities and social initiatives successfully held by the mall which included a one-week long Q'uran recital competition, Qaranqasho celebrations, charity campaigns, a blood donation drive and multicultural performances that created captivating moments for the customers and patrons throughout the Ramadan period and even during the Eid holidays.

The Ramadan campaign received a thumbs-up from customers on the social media channels of the company. These activities clearly demonstrated the mall's support in promoting Omani culture, which embarks on showcasing the camaraderie among the community and its cultural background and practices during this festive period.
