Kuwait's April exports at KD 19m: Ministerial report

KUWAIT, 12th July, 2016 (WAM) -- Kuwait's exports totaled about KD 19 million in April, with 75 percent (KD 14 million) going to Arab states and 25 percent for the rest of the world, according to a report by Kuwait's Ministry of Commerce and Industry.

According to Kuwait News Agency, KUNA, Iraq had the biggest share of Kuwaiti Arab exports with 81 percent (KD 12 million), while Italy was the top at the international level with 29 percent (KD 1.4 million), said the ministry in a report published by KUNA on Tuesday.

Exported items for the Arab World included paper bags, plastic cans, dairy products, oils, sweets and others, while insecticides, polyethylene, and other substances were exported internationally.
