Oman- Higher studies registration from tomorrow

Dr Hamad bin Khalfan al Numani, director general of Higher Education Admission Center (HEAC) has said that students can register and modify their choice of programmes from Wednesday.

The changes can be made till July 24. The result of the first sorting will be out on August 10. The major developments of the academic year 2016-17 is introducing a programme for nationalisation of teaching jobs.

The programme is for students who pass out from schools in the Governorate of Al Wusta and some other schools. Numani said that new internal scholarships were introduced in Nizwa University, the International College for Engineering and Management and Oman Tourism College. The developments of the academic year 2016-2017 will be available on the centre''s website.

The amendments include admission terms, titles of programmes, cancelled study programmes and new study programs at the College of Applied Sciences in Rustaq.
