UAE- DEWA honours the winners of its 2nd Suppliers Cricket Tournament

DUBAI, 10th July, 2016 (WAM) -- Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD and CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority ,DEWA, has honoured the winners of the 2nd DEWA Suppliers Cricket Tournament, 2016.

The tournament was held at the Insportz Club in Al Quoz, Dubai, and attracted the participation of 20 corporate teams. Other than cricket, DEWA also organised a football and women''s bowling championship. These events support DEWA''s ongoing efforts to enhance communication and build long-term strategic partnerships.

Dr. Yousef Al Akraf, Executive Vice President of Business Support and Human Resources at DEWA, said that organising the 2nd Suppliers Cricket Tournament came as a result of the success achieved by the first tournament, noting that activities such as these create an encouraging environment to achieve the happiness of stakeholders, which in turn positively affects the performance of services.
