UAE Embassy urges citizens in US to avoid protest places

ABU DHABI, 9th July, 2016 (WAM) -- The UAE Embassy in the United States has urged the UAE nationals, who are in the US, to stay away from places of protests and demonstrations that broke out in some states.

In a statement, the embassy also called on the citizens to contact the number 0012024315530 whenever necessary.

The appeal came in a tweet posted by the embassy on the social networking site "Twitter" in the aftermath of a demonstration by supporters of ''Black Lives Matter,'' an activist movement, in front of the White House on Friday in the backdrop of the killing of two African Americans by white police officers.
