Oman- Safeer Mall, Sohar Hospital conduct blood donation drive

Safeer Mall Sohar recently organised a blood donation drive in association with the Sohar Hospital blood bank, and the campaign saw a good overall enthusiasm from volunteers and donors.

The drive was held from 8pm onwards and consisted of the registration of more than 75 interested donors, who contributed to a good cause. Omanis were on the forefront of this initiative.

A good number of individuals from the expat community also selflessly stepped forward to donate blood and take part in the initiative.

A senior management official from the mall said, ''We regularly conduct blood donation drives as part of our CSR initiatives and it was encouraging to see an excellent response from the community. We would like to express our utmost gratitude to all the volunteers who took part in the blood donation campaign and also recognise the importance of blood donation not only to the beneficiaries but also to the health of donors.''
